If you want a patio or pool deck that actually looks finished — not just a slab of gray concrete — pavers and overlays are usually the answer. Pavers give you options: color, pattern, texture, the ability to work around curves and existing structures instead of pouring one flat form. Overlays let us upgrade existing concrete without a full tear-out, which can save time and money depending on the condition of what’s already there.

Both hold up well on pool decks specifically — they handle heat, moisture, and heavy foot traffic better than plain concrete, and if a section ever does crack or shift, individual pavers can be replaced without redoing the whole area.
